Joseph Communications was started in June of 1999 and began by acquiring the assets and client lists of Quality Answering Service which was started by the Tausch Family in 1987.
Emergency Medical Transport, Inc. (EMT Ambulance) was started in 1995. They began by being self dispatched 24 Hours a day. This proved to be both unreliable, as well as not cost effective. Dispatch was turned over to a small telephone answering service in the Stark County area. The quality people needed to answer emergency telephone lines were not available there. After over a year of "dealing" with this, a patients life was nearly cost and a facility contract was lost to a competitor due to the total incompetence of a poorly trained, confused operator.
As quickly as possible, the services of Quality Answering Service were employed as recommended to us by another business. The excellence in service and quality people found by this move was refreshing, as well as being in the best interest of our patients. Quality was a well run business, and was properly named!
In early 1999, the owner of EMT Ambulance made a bid to purchase Quality Answering Service and after months of negotiation, was able to acquire the assets and employees (including management) of Quality Answering Service, thus the new name, Joseph Communications.
In August of 2002, we purchased a large building on 2 acres of ground on Waynesburg Drive in Canton, and relocated to our present location. We now enjoy a much larger and more suitable location for our operations. Stop by and pay us a visit, were always open!
